Like most other mortgage brokers, Cobalt Capital, a client of Rhizome since 2005, went tits up. The brutal market conditions of recent years did for yet another excellent company. But that’s all in the past now, no time to dwell. Now Cobalt is back. Or at least, the good bits of it are — the core of the old company (‘Coreco’ — get it?), people like Matt (the most important one) and Monty and Rob and Roy and Hendo and some flash-harry called Frankie. And they’re better and hungrier and slightly crazier than ever. Coreco will be one of the biggest brand brokers in the time it takes to say ‘Shoot that damn dog, moma’; Let the fun begin.
