PR
Rhizome PR was created by journalists who realised that, with their inside knowledge, super-duper media contacts and nose for a good story, they could do PR better than most. Turns out, they (that's us) were right — just ask our clients.
We pride ourselves on getting phenomenal coverage in national newspapers and on their websites, in regional press and trade publications, on the wireless, telly and blogs. And we do it all at wallet-friendly prices. Hell, we're a goddam PR revolution.
Anyway, enough of the guff. How does it all work? Well, clients agree to a monthly retainer — payable at the end of the month we've just worked — but we don’t ask them to sign a contract until they’re paying a fair old whack. As we see it, if you consistently get someone results, they'll keep throwing money at you so who needs a contract?
The vast majority of our clients come to us through word of mouth, btw. Happy clients breed more happy clients and all that. We’ve also found that many of our clients come to us because their last PR firm “was rubbish”. Horror stories include: “We paid £18,000 over six months and got one measly piece of regional coverage.” Not here you don't kiddo.
The general disillusionment with PR might also explain why our sister company, Just In Time PR, is proving so popular. It works slightly differently, focusing purely on 'reactive' hits off the back of breaking news stories.
If a story breaks that's relevant to your company we issue a comment from you to all our best press contacts. You pay us according to the coverage we generate on the back of that. If we don’t get any coverage, you don’t pay us a penny. Check out how it works here.
